works fine needs some tweaking

This seems to be doing a good job with that simple litter box smell. If your cat is shitting heavily and you come by, then yes, you can still smell them, so it's not ideal, but it definitely helps. This is a round piece that is inserted into a small base piece with a sticky adhesive backing (Photo 1). I glued the base piece into my domed tray, after which the base piece just twists out of the base. It's small enough and my litter box is high enough not to disturb my cat (photo 2). I've had it for about two to three weeks and it hasn't fallen off at all. If you look at photo 3 above, you can see the motion detector's eye. I positioned mine so that it would catch the cat running in or even next to the box. When it senses movement, the light glows blue, but then it does nothing. He waits a few minutes for the cat to finish, then shows up and does his thing. When it's doing its thing, it flashes blue. I was walking down the hall and saw a blue flash so I knew the cat was just there so it looks like an automatic feature. I can't hear anything from afar, but I didn't really put my ear to the box either. It's losing points because I can't find a way to see when it needs to be charged. It's impossible to tell when his power is gone and when he's just doing nothing because the cat wasn't around. It should either flash a different color all the time, or play a beep or something else to notify you when it's time to charge. In my tray, the bottom slides out to remove dirt, I don't have to move the top where this device sits, so even cleaning the tray daily didn't alert me to the need to charge as I don't have one. Fiddle with the arched part. It wasn't until the litter box smell returned that I realized it needed to be charged. Now I have to remember to take it off and charge it about every 5 days, which I know I won't do. I think Alexa can help with this, but I'd rather it flash a color to notify me. And a warning. There is a small button on the back that you have to press to turn it on. I didn't see it and at first thought mine was broken lol.
