Good pigment but doesn't mix well

I bought these markers because they are MUCH cheaper than Copic and Promarker. These markers are perfect for simple base colors or flat images, but they don't go well together. Rather than blending, they seem to pick up pigments from the lower levels and redistribute the color rather than blending. These are still great markers and I will continue to use them for base colors but as far as blending goes I need to choose a different marker to keep my project safe.

These compare very well to other brands of Alcohol markers. I love them and use them all the time.
