Fits all bananas I buy (this doesn't work for extra long or straight bananas but works great for small to medium sized bananas). It really saved her from getting crushed in her backpack or lunch box. I will say that when they are new they can be difficult to open. Open and close them a few times before sending them to school just to loosen the plastic for your kids to open them. If they can't open them, just wrap a rubber band around the container and don't snap it shut. This will still prevent the fetus. I did this for the first few weeks she used it because my daughter couldn't open it. In the end she succeeded. They last a long time, we've been using them for a year and apart from being easier to open and close there is no wear and tear on them.
