These are really good gloves. I have another pair of black leather gloves from another company - these are medium and these are a size 9. These shearling gloves are different in a number of ways. The skin is thicker and looks better. The fingers are longer. I don't necessarily need the length of my fingers, but others might. The cuffs are longer, about an inch longer. It actually makes them warmer. I don't recommend trying to stuff them into coat sleeves. Instead, put on gloves before putting on your coat. The lining of these gloves is 70% wool and 30% cotton. The lining of the rest is Thinsulate. They're slightly warmer - good enough for winters in the Czech Republic (where they're made) and winters in Georgia (where I live), and you can use them in the fall and spring if you live in Minnesota.
