My 1500 lb horse scratched the butt of the rear window and shattered the glass! (This window has been on various horses for 25 years and up until now no one has felt the need to break it!) It cut his ass horribly, it took 20 stitches. So I swapped out the window for a hurricane-proof one, installed handicap railings to make it less scratch-resistant, and attached a horse scratching post to the wall next to the window. It works! He leaves the window alone, and judging by the sand and scratchy hair, he must love it! I used two side by side. Good decision.
