I knew it was a cheap mirror but until I took it out of the box I didn't realize it was just cheap junk. One of the hinges is missing a screw and has a large gap. It was assembled this way at the factory because two other screws hold the hinge away from the edge of the mirror. There was a screw in the empty position, but it eventually fell out. All other screws in each hinge are stripped, leaving the side mirrors lost and sloppy. They will *decay* when eventually used. The factory-drilled mounting holes for the mounting bracket are more than 1/8 inch off the plane. In order to mount and align the mirror, you must intentionally skew the other mount. .Finally "Beveled Edges". It's hard to see in the pictures from the ads, but it's painfully visible in real life. These are not bevels on the mirror as one might expect, just plastic bevel plugs glued on.
