This review is for the Instant Cold Brew Electric Coffee Maker.It actually works! In 15 minutes, I had a cup of coffee that tasted like cold brew, no acidity. The coffee is room-temperature when finished, not warm or hot from brewing.The coffee maker is very simple to use: put water in the pitcher, put grounds in the brew basket, put the lid on, and set the time on the base. For 2 servings or 16oz, it takes 15 minutes to brew. For 4 servings or 32 oz, it takes 30 minutes to brew.The coffee maker isn’t too loud, every minute or two the agitator in the bottom of the brew basket spins. The controls on the base are very similar to Insta Pot’s Air Fryers, with touchscreen buttons to set the time and start the brewing process.I used Café Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee, and I think it was a little too fine for the brew basket, as I had some grounds in my cup and in the pitcher. The instructions warn not to use fine grind coffee grounds.The pitcher, brew basket, and lid are dishwasher safe. I put them in the dishwasher after every use, and haven’t noticed any signs of wear or damage yet. The pitcher is actually difficult to clean by hand, you need to use a bottle brush or similar if you want to hand wash. The handle/black part of the top does not come off, only the lid that covers where the brew basket fits into the pitcher. So the opening is small.If the base was to quit working, you could still use this as a normal cold brew pitcher. The instructions actually have a recipe for that: 5 minutes on the base and then 12-16 hours in the fridge.
