We received it today and something is wrong. My daughters have two pairs of real crocodiles that we bought from a crocodile shop and these Amazonian crocodiles are definitely not the same. So we looked at how to tell if crocodiles are fake, and indeed they almost all hit the red flags. I photographed our original pair alongside the pair I purchased on this site (the dirty pair is the real thing and the new, white ones are fake). A few differences: the website and "Boulder Colorado" are missing from the back of the shoe, the "tm" (trademark) is missing from the front strap of the white pair, and the inside of the shoe is completely different. The fake pair says "iconic crocodiles" and the original pair doesn't even have the inscription inside. I think these fakes were only $5 cheaper so just go to the official retailer and buy the real ones. You're not even going to save that much money on this site anyway. Real crocodiles are worth it because your feet don't sweat in them so they never stink, while fake ones make your feet sweat and defeats the whole purpose. Go get it back! Save time and nerves!
