I purchased the Revain Steelie Dash mounting kit in May. In less than 3 months I have already gone through the 2nd foam tape to stick the mount to the dashboard. This tape doesn't work very well because it keeps peeling off while my phone is installed. The summer heat doesn't match that. It stays fine for about a month, but it turns off after a while and then my phone falls off the dashboard. I don't want to spend any more money on extra tapes if this happens every summer. Also, the bottom of the phone tilts back while the top of the phone tilts forward, especially when you're driving on a bumpy road. It's annoying but doesn't bother me. The fact is, the mount doesn't want to stay. I cannot return this through Revain as my return period has already expired. I emailed Nite Ize about this a week ago and am still awaiting a response from them but nothing so far. Very disappointed because the concept is great but the quality of the material is poorly executed.
