It is not leather and the color is not dark brown. Don't buy unless they change their description. UPDATE: Having bought leather Hide & Drink razor cases for the same price, which were actually brown and actually leather, I was even more disappointed. There is a WORLD of differences. The Parker sheath was advertised as brown leather but was actually shiny orange plastic and Hide & Drink was exactly as described: attractive, well made and LEATHER. If you're looking for a razor case, don't even think about choosing Parker over Hide & Drink.
