Very strong plastic smell.

I can't see anyone commenting on this so maybe I have a lemon. Out of the box they were fine but as soon as they got wet they started to smell (enough to give me a headache! Apparently not that bad from the outside but once we got inside even my husband couldn't handle it) . I understand these are plastic wellies but I have not experienced this on any of mine. It's a shame because my daughter loved them so much and didn't take them off when they arrived so they should be comfortable as well. I hope Hunter boots are just as comfortable and odor free.

Pros

My 2 year old granddaughter wanted purple wellies and wants to wear them all the time.

Cons

Limited color options. While the lilac/purple color of the Hatley Kids Boy Firm Grip Wellies may look cute, it may not be to everyone's taste. Unfortunately, this product does not come in other color options for children to choose from.
