Nice Accessory Kit for Canon SX530

I bought this polarizing filter kit for Canon SX530HS. It comes with a 67mm threaded adapter ring which can be tricky to install at first time. Don't force it. Just turn around and look. It will make sense. Or watch a YouTube video of the company. The ring is securely fixed when installed correctly. It doesn't interfere with lens movement. As with all lens add-ons, you need to be aware of the effects on the image. Additional filters cast a shadow with flash on close-ups. In this case, it's better to go away and zoom in than zoom in. It's also better for flash spread in my opinion. Also, the lens hood needs to be folded to the right length for the effective lens length, or you'll see it in the corners. Again, this is not a problem, the photographer just needs to be aware of it. Because the SX530 is a point-and-shoot camera, you won't notice a problem until you snap a picture. When adding a lens, always check the result before stepping away from the shot. Either way, it's good general practice. All in all the kit is very handy and brings some nice features to the SX530, most notably the polarizing filter. The ND filter also acts as a handy camera lens protector, but be aware that it can cast a shadow when shooting close-ups and macro shots.
