. If you are using this in cool or cold waters (e.g. Pacific or Atlantic, not tropical areas) and it is action related, you will need a remote control. The display is difficult to see even without a diving case and cannot be seen at all with a diving case. So you need a remote control. Is the Insta360 One x remote waterproof? I do not think so. And it's sold out on Insta360. Maybe another bluetooth remote will work. But when it comes to 360° in the ocean, I vote for the GoPro Fusion/Max (yes, the Insta360 is much better in many ways, but aquatic action isn't one of them). And you can still use Insta360's excellent desktop software for keyframing.
