We wanted to put something big in the middle of the room for our little ones to explore without picking up the little things that our older kids always leave on the floor. At first this seemed like a great solution. However, we quickly noticed some serious problems with it. PROS: Unlike most mesh playgrounds, this one is on the ground so there is no weight limit. This means that older siblings or adults can also sit with the baby without any problems. It also means you can put toys that won't fit in a raised playpen, such as toys. B. a small game table. The net is superior to other playpen in terms of visibility. It's surprisingly easy to see a thought from afar. Photos through the grid even come out well. Also folds up very easily. Opening and closing really only takes a few seconds. It's really light, so you can carry it with one hand. It also folds up very compactly, not much larger than a camping chair. All of this makes it easy to take with you on the go if that's important to you. CONS: The biggest problem is that square footage is essentially a lie. It's (poorly) constructed so that the arena floor doesn't touch the ground until it's over a foot. It says it's 62 inches wide and there's a frame, but the only usable space is the center - about 3 feet. Diameter. The lid is also difficult to assemble and disassemble. 16 buckles and 8 Velcro straps are a snap. However, 8 backpack style straps is a big problem. My shoulder literally hurts after the hassle of threading it in, working it out, and pulling it out again. Surely there was a better way to design?! It has a 90 day guarantee, but we didn't make it past 90 days when the stitching started to pop and the mesh started to tear. I've seen other reviews of them break, but I figured they used it for travel or took it off frequently which resulted in more wear and tear. nope We installed it once and never removed or moved it again. Nobody messes with it. We put the baby in and out several times a day. Our baby isn't old enough to walk yet and has only just learned to pull himself up to get up - which he can't even do in this one because the sides are too tall - so he hasn't punched holes in the stitches either. It just isn't as "durable" as claimed. Finally, it should be easy to clean, but NOT machine washable and NOT suitable for tumble drying. And trying to remove the cover to clean it in the sink would be like trying to clean a tent, fitted sheet, or one-piece sofa cover. This is cumbersome at best. It should not be advertised as washable or "easy to cleanβ. However, it gets dirty easily.
