Soft and Strong on my review.
These are the perfect magnets. Our cabinet doors have sheet metal glued to the plywood panels and veneer over the sheet metal, this allows them to look like normal doors, but they allow magnets to stick. These magnets are soft and won't scratch the veneer, but strong enough to hold papers. My kids also like to make hearts with the unused ones.
