This is the best thing in the world. At home we just call it "Purple Stuff". I discovered this product while breastfeeding my second child. My child just turned 20. Needless to say, I've been using this stuff for quite some time. I was told a long time ago that this is the purest form of lanolin you can buy at the pharmacy. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I know it works. When the girls were little, I smeared diaper rash on them. It's very thick so I rubbed it with my fingers to warm it up and make it easier to apply. Small things have a big impact. Her diaper rash usually went away the next day. I've used it on chapped lips, scratches, burns, etc. I even had a friend who was undergoing breast cancer treatment and I gave her something to burn her breasts. It has worked wonders. I was so excited when I found these little tubes that I put one in my purse and gave one to each of my girls.
