Bought this a while ago as a pet waste bin on my front door (which is outside). Works perfectly. It doesn't look like a flashy trash can and looks slick enough to deter attackers from using it. It's pretty easy to use. Especially when you get it for the first time, it seems complicated, but you'll be up and running within a minute. It's almost ready to use. Just follow the instructions. Holds the scent well. Hot days require changing clothes more frequently, cold days make it easy, but I still try to change clothes every 3-5 days. My dog weighs just over 20 pounds. I attached it to the wall with a small piece of wire. There is a blade for cutting the pocket and it was safe to work with. It doesn't get dirty, I feel very comfortable using it every day. Pulling out the garbage bag even seems like a pretty clean operation, but I still wear gloves and wash my hands. The tank is easy to clean inside and out. It's not entirely non-contact. Under the hinged lid, you need to gently press the lid to drop the dirt. I recommend making it a standard to only use your finger against the lid, not the dirt itself, to keep things clean. I have bought refills and have found that a "delivered and ready to use" product is much better than refills. The darning bags I bought aren't as cool, not as freshly seasoned, and a little less functional. The bag catches the lock and the door sometimes catches, depending on how well you put it in. But still not bad. Note to the wise. ** This product is small, if I were a small mom I would only use it for newborn diapers. **I use tied trash bags before throwing in pet poo so it helps keep the odor at bay. ** I very much doubt I will ever use this for pet waste or little people around my house unless I change the bag every day. For my purposes I am satisfied 😌
