Review on Blackout Oakley Men's Backpack – SizeIZE Backpacks for Casual Daypacks by Ruth Reyes

I bought a new backpack for school and I really liked it. When I bought it I read the reviews that it was too small and I was concerned. When I received it and compared it to my old backpack (that pretty standard Jansport we all know and love) it was smaller but only marginally and I consider it insignificant. If you can get by with a Jansport insert, then you're fine. Although I use it at school I think the main purpose of this pack (since the company is Oakley) is for people going to events or walking or getting around town. That's what this package is for. I use it at school but it works for me because I'm light on my EDC for school. I updated to go digital with textbooks, notes, school, apps, calendars, etc (highly recommended, but that's another review) on my tablet. So this is a list of what I carry with me every day: 10" tablet with case, bluetooth headphones, (1) 1" binder, (1) spiral notepad, (2) very full binders in main case. I use the top "Oakley" pocket as a pencil case, so I have some pencils, pens, markers, a sharpener, and an eraser (maybe I'll throw in some sunglasses or something) and in the bottom pocket I carry (2 ) calculators and chargers/cables. That's enough to get through every day. It's perfect and I love it! If you pack the same things for school, you'll be fine. If you're a nerd who has to lug around half a room and 4 textbooks, this isn't your backpack. Would buy again. UPDATE: After a semester and a half of college, my opinion still stands. Perfect for what I wear. Only complaint would be a better place for a water bottle. I just attach it to the straps. Material and workmanship are of good quality. I have included photos along with my school EDC to help you see what to add. I don't think it would be ideal for more than that in terms of school. Outside of school, it is convenient to carry various items. Yes, it's small, but that also means it's not too big and chunky that you forget you're wearing it. It's very light, comfortable and non-existent, which I think is the point of the design. For comparison I have a photo of 5'9 155-160.
