For a long time, I debated whether or not to purchase these headphones. As the headphones were released in the fall of 2022, I read all of the reviews, which are sparse to say the least. Ahead of that, I used Airdots and QCY t5. Right off the bat, I'll state that the sound quality is far superior than that of headphones made in China. Those who prefer rock and oldies will want to search elsewhere, as these headphones have a weak midrange. The bass is audible and it does not drown out the rest of the music but rather takes it to the same level. Comparatively, these do a better job of blocking out ambient noise than my previous headphones. When the music is on, you can't hear a thing they're saying. Also, the kit includes specialized ear pads for people who require absolute silence. There are no issues with iOS device compatibility for viewing videos or playing games. In addition to seamless switching between devices, manual adjustments are also possible with as few as two clicks (in the case of an iPad, for example, selecting the sound source). The function that pauses when the cups are joined is useful, but autoplay isn't always usual (I think this is a problem for me personally). It's as loud as it can get without distorting. In my opinion, this is preferable to cranking up the volume till it sounds like a fork is being slammed across a dinner plate. Have it be clear and consistent, but not overly loud. I don't know the optimal time period for when headphones should automatically power off from the phone. Once I fell asleep with them still attached to my phone, and when I woke up, they were disconnected. I gave much consideration to the wire, but in the end decided it didn't bother me because it stayed put and didn't get in the way of my listening. This is a great pair of headphones, and I'm glad I bought them. But I can't speak to the Pro model's superiority to AirPods. These earphones are the least expensive option within Apple's ecosystem without sacrificing quality. Nothing else comes close to this quality for the cost.
