At first I was pleased with how well the packaging protected the braided black and gold earphones I ordered, but when I finally opened the packaging and plugged it in I was pleased sharp. It would be a different matter if this was a cheap replacement, but in this case the opposite is true. I spent what I consider a moderate amount for it. You sound terrible. Thin, no dynamic range and distortion. For the record, the wicker casing will stick to almost any fabric, so save it for another apple set.
