Not sure about the accuracy. Read out.
Works as intended but I'm not 100% sure it's accurate. We have a 165 degree thermostat in our V8 454. We put in a new water temp sensor and this sensor and it shows our engine is running at 210. It's a HUGE difference so I'm not sure what the problem is. Our engine oil runs at around 175-180, so I'm inclined to think the water temp sensor or sensor is off. Since both the sensor and transducer are Bosch I'm not sure what the problem is without changing the sensor and sensor again. If Bosch would offer to replace both the water temp sensor and the sensor for me I might be able to give it 4 or 5 stars. Note Note.
