I have been using this deodorant for many years and I really like it. There are a few key steps that need to be followed to make it work properly. ALWAYS apply to clean skin. It works by preventing the build-up of bacteria. So if you don't wear it IMMEDIATELY after showering/cleansing, it won't be as effective. So when I shower in the evening, I put it on in the evening and again the next morning. You'll sweat with this deodorant as it's not an antiperspirant, but that doesn't mean the sweat smells. I will say if you are excessively sweating/very hot/etc in a day you can either take a backup or use something else as in my experience it is not strong enough for such things. I have a small deodorant that I take to work if needed. If you haven't showered in more than a day, you may need to clean your armpits before you shower again the next day. Also, it's not something you spend under each arm a few times. I would recommend going back and forth 10-15 times for each armpit. I love that it doesn't clog my pores with chemicals. Sometimes I add essential oil if I want something extra. The crystal lasts forever. I usually have to replace mine because I dropped it and it ripped or something because if you take care of it this thing will probably last over a year. If you're looking for a healthy antiperspirant alternative, definitely give it a try. Note that it's different than your regular antiperspirant, but this is the best alternative I've found!
