30ft is a considerable length of power cord for a 12V DC system and this cord appears capable of powering home security cameras for which it is used. The camera power supply is rated at 1A, and the peak consumption of the camera is about 800mA (8/10A). I don't see any issues with the camera, which would likely be the case if the device stalled due to a weak cable. Other reviews mention the size of the wire, more = more power. Without hand cutting the wire and measuring the copper it is impossible to see the mark. But the power cord works.
