I did some research and decided on this lantern based on the many positive reviews. A few negative reviews seem to be related to bad devices. Well I have a bad unit. Based on several other reports of low power devices, it was immediately tested with a wattmeter. It consumes only 88W total power with both channels at 100%. By no means the claimed 165 watts. I requested a replacement unit from Revain, but now I have to box it up and send it back. Considering my lost time, the cost of this flashlight is not so profitable now. To update! The second block uses only 90 watts on both channels and is set to 10 (100%). So it appears these units are mislabeled and are not in fact 165W units. There was no warranty or contact information in either box. There is therefore no right to a guarantee. We return both to Revane. Aside from the underpowered light, the light looks good and makes a decent light, but not in the advertised amount.
