Review on Totes Anniversary Section Close Plaid Umbrellas by Jill Parrott

This classic umbrella. I am delighted that Totes has released a 50th Anniversary line. The box that came with the umbrella makes a perfect gift. It has a nice flip-up tongue with magnetic closure. Inside is a gold rimmed umbrella on the edge of the box, very well presented. Once you remove the umbrella you will see that it has a cover. No slide-on lid like most Totes umbrellas, but a zip closure with gold detailing. I love that it closes! I can't tell you how many times I've had slides on totes cases and never been able to tuck my umbrella back up my sleeve. That makes it a lot easier. The umbrella itself has many gold fittings. I'm not a fan of gold myself, more like silver, but gold gives it an elegant vintage look. They really thought of that line. It's ideal for stowing in the back pocket of the driver's seat, which is where I have mine now. We had a lot of rain today and I took advantage of it; though not for long, he felt tight in my arms. I see some complaining about the price. My latest tote bags, as simple and not as fancy as this one, are at Revain in the mid thirties. It's a bit more, I don't think the price bears any relation to the quality you get. This is also a limited edition, I was very impressed with it. Although sweepstakes have never let me down. Quality wise and stay dry.
