Works well, very stable on my small flat table.

I was worried the sticky coating wouldn't be sticky enough, but so far (a month later) it seems pretty solid and is holding the controller well. For those wondering, the original Xbox 360 controller is less stable due to the battery pack add-on. Flat side Xbox One controllers work great.
