I love the look of this razor - it has a very attractive bronze finish which I really like. This is a nice contrast to my current silver razor. This razor has a nice long handle (longer than others I've used) and a decent weight. The weight is comfortable as you can rely more on the weight of the razor when shaving and resist the temptation to press it against your skin. The head is also nice and wide, which protects you from cut edges when you're working on your nostrils and earlobes. The head will automatically align the blade and leave a fairly aggressive impact on the blade so you need to be careful when using it. This will give you a very close shave, but it helps to have some experience with that aggressive blade action - like I said in the title, this isn't a starter kit. If you're new to this, at least be careful. A few tips: 30 degree angle, short strokes, use the razor's own weight without additional pressure. When inserting/changing the knife, always hold the short edges of the knife - - Never use the long, sharp sides of the knife. Use a shaving cream that lubricates well and keep your razor moist for good lubrication and a close shave.
