I dont write a lot of reviews but felt compelled to recommend this
I have a 16 year old, not quite 7 pound chihuahua who I used foam steps to help her climb onto the sofa for years. I saw these ortho steps and I am so glad I got them despite the price that seemed hefty to me. Instead of her having to heave her little body up and forward in which I could see the effort she just kind of glides up the stairs. I also like the soft yet textured material as opposed to something slick. I would never consider those hard plastic stairs for her. If you have an disabled or elderly dog I really recommend these stairs.
