Review on Forge Approved Accessories Combination Body Cable Travel Accessories : Luggage Locks by Brenda Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, easy to use, light and safe!

So before I go any further I would like to say that these can be picked up using the TSA keyhole. This applies to almost every lock, with the exception of TappLockOne+, which has a fingerprint lock function. But it's a $100 padlock that's complicated to set up, insanely heavy, and certainly not luggage-friendly. So let's keep that in mind guys. However, if you use these locks on things like carry-on luggage, you can take a small drop of superglue and seal the TSA opening. Only one unlock combination can be used. When checking in baggage, it is no longer possible to use superglue to seal the TSA keyhole. ;) But to continue, superglue and go! As for the locks themselves, these Forge locks (with cable and 3 digit code) are superb! The best TSA locks I've ever owned, without a doubt you can't beat them! The product is well made and very pleasant to use and of very good quality. The numbers slide well in combinations, the set-use system is excellent (the lock code cannot be accidentally changed like many other combination locks). The product is very well made for this lock class. It can be used in checked baggage, it can be used in carry-on baggage, and can lock small items such as wallets, backpacks, lockers. many uses. I gave them to some relatives as stocking stuffers who travel a lot and love the locks. Outstanding product. Thank you!

Pros
  • ALWAYS CLOSED, ALWAYS PROTECTED. Most TSA locks on the market no longer require a TSA agent to lock after verification. With our TSA suitcase lock, the agent must re-lock your suitcase to recover the key. With Forge, you'll never have to worry about your suitcase's locks staying open again.
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
