Even though the printer didn't recognize them, they were printed anyway. I'm not sure if the quality corresponds to the well-known brand. However, I had to print some textbooks (with permission) for my kids' homeschooling, so the quality didn't have to be 100%. Printed copies cost over $60, between the paper and this ink I spent less than $40. I have yet to see how long these inks last, the more they print the better. But now I'm saving $20 on a textbook, so I'm mostly happy with it.
