I installed my Popoman saber saw in this 19 inch model and there was plenty of room. Charger, battery, saw, one of the 5 inch storage compartments and a top shelf all fit in nicely. It's plastic, but it's fairly durable, so it should be able to withstand some serious abuse. The clasps that keep it closed are also important to its functioning. You can lose it in the back of your truck and it won't open. This tool box can be used in many occasions. Unfortunately, many tools don't come with a box, and storing them in the cardboard box they came in just isn't the way to go. So if you're looking for a cheap tool chest for practically no cost, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a solid tool chest without spending a lot of money, you've just found it. The top shells in the lid, which are ideal for attaching screws, electrical parts, etc., also close very securely and are visible through the transparent lid. All in all a nice addition to your arsenal.
