Review on UL-Listed Cefrank Bookshelf Light Bar - Low Profile Under Cabinet Lighting - Energy Saving - Cool to Touch - Soft Warm White Glow by Jim Dahl

I have a four-tier glass shelf from Detolf that I wanted to accentuate with lighting. It seemed like the perfect solution. When I received the unit I tested the measurements and everything seemed to be lighting up pretty well, but prior to installation I wanted to test the actual lighting performance before installing it on each shelf. Luckily I did. The actual performance of the LED is not impressive. I'm in a corner office with limited lighting in general and the LED gave just enough to make it appear "dim". If you're looking for super low, super dim lighting, this is it. My collectibles were not visible in any detail of this LED kit. I have comics with action figures etc and unfortunately the lighting didn't work for my solution. I am again looking for a bright LED to highlight and show the details of my collectibles. I don't want to glow just for mood lighting or whatever. 1 star = faint bright light compared to what was shown in the examples, this doesn't give much light impact. For my application, stock photos do not show advertised illuminance. Pros = For Detolf the wiring is easy and seems simpler than most kits. Problems = Mechanisms I would double connect just to reinforce them. .Cons = The lighting is very low, not bright as stated in the photos and I based my purchase on the advertised LED. I was looking for a bright LED for my display and it didn't work for me. Might be good for your solution but not for me. Always be on the hunt.
