I bought this bottle for my teenage daughter as she needed a new stainless steel water bottle. This is a shaker bottle but can also be used simply as a water bottle. The shaker part is completely separate and does not need to be in the bottle unless you are using it as a shaker. I like the shape of the bottle; It's narrow enough at the bottom to fit in a cup holder and wider at the top to hold 24 ounces. Liquids. For people with small hands, this is a good shape. I also love that this bottle comes with its own silicone sleeve, so you don't have to hear a clink every time you put it down. The loop handle is great, I've had bottles without a handle so I know how necessary it is. I also like that there is no straw, just unscrew the cork and drink from it. I don't want to wash the other part! Speaking of which, the silicone pads in the lid and cap are easy to remove for a full wash. It's a sturdy design, I've bought and used many different bottles since living in a hot part of the country. This Takeya bottle keeps water cold all day long. Can't vouch for hot liquids as we haven't used it for that and probably never will. I also love blue.
