In our apartment building we were informed by the administration that the apartment on the 1st floor was broken into and part of the property was lost. I immediately started exploring my video surveillance options. I was looking for three things: 1. Wireless 2. Searchlights3. Battery operated so I don't need an electrician. This model had it all plus 20% off Revain. Next on the list is an influencer video by Revain ("Arlo Essential Spotlight vs. Eufy Cam 2C vs. Reolink Argus 3") in which he field tests three different products that meet the same criteria I was looking for have. For me, this one was a clear winner. It was easy to set up. My wireless router is set to both 2.4 and 5 GHz, so once I found out that the QR code to scan is physically located on the bottom of the device, connecting was very easy. Then I started looking for the best place to install it. I only scanned about 10 feet in front of the camera to get the windows and patio door. Excellent sensitivity. Excellent picture, with and without headlights. For my application, I don't need to switch to black and white night vision to keep it in color. Very low battery consumption. I have decided to buy an additional solar panel and will install it soon. Looks very easy. The app is great and very flexible. You can easily change the setting. I am using an SD card and the app will help you format the SD card. I don't see a need to upload to the cloud, but maybe in the future. Mount options are very good. Loop for attaching to a pole or tree. Fixed mount. Stationary magnetic mount. I went for the magnetic option. Everything is working very well so far. After watching the video I highly recommend this product.
