Review on Custom Leathercraft 339 Armor Flex Hinge Like by Jacob Seymour

Excellent design and construction with one elastic and one nylon band

Comfortable with thick foam padding and exceptionally good design with elastic top band and nylon bottom band. The cut out sections make it easier to kneel and stand up without pinching the outer sheet like I've experienced with most knee pads. At first they felt tight but that wasn't a problem and these knee pads wrap around the knee to keep them from rolling to one side when kneeling. I have medium sized feet, not skinny, and the elastic strap was long enough at 3 inches to be gentle on it. The bottom strap was just an inch long enough and went over the jeans. The hem may not be long enough for heavy pants or those with thick legs. The total length of the bottom strap is 11 inches so you can measure below the knee to see if 11 inches will fit. Having used other knee pads, I have learned the importance of having straps that allow for endless adjustment. Most of them have 1-1/0.2 to 2 inch adjustment holes for the shoulder straps, so I had to decide between making them too loose and mobile or too tight and cutting off blood flow in my legs when I kneel . . These Custom Leathercraft knee pads had no such problems. After a few days of use, I found that the outer shell had lost its shape and as a result, my knees were slipping to the side. This makes them suitable for everyday use or staying in one place for a long time, but not for those who use them all day and move around, for example when laying floors.
