I don't have an Apple Pen and haven't had one in the past so I can't compare. I bought this based on the reviews and am very happy with it. It was such a good deal compared to the Apple Pencil and I haven't had any issues with it so far. I've used it in the Procreate app, it's very smooth and easy to hold. There are no glitches or freezes. My 7 year old also uses it for his online learning thanks to COVID. I didn't have to use the glove but I'm sure it works properly. Overall very satisfied and would buy again.
