Plastic parts are difficult to attach. My frames are plastic and the stem of my glasses got caught in the plastic slots and it was awful. It's also common to see plastic around the bezels, which is distracting. They also gave me a headache the first few times I used them. They serve a purpose and have extras in case some of them are lost at a reasonable cost.
