First let me say the socks are great. Ruffle beaded socks are hard to find because I've spent more than usual on them. When they arrived they looked huge! Husband didn't think they would fit. Since the size range described was wider than what I was used to, I decided to give it a try. My daughter is 2 and wears size 8 shoes. Her socks were too big. Although her foot filled the sock from heel to toe, the sock was loose. Too loose for evening shoes. Since we were at a special event I put the sock on and tucked her leg 1.5 inches in. This allowed the sock to fit without causing any discomfort when walking.
