The buckle should be better secured, nice colors

This is my third Barton watch strap, first for my Galaxy Watch. Really the only fault I have with them (but the main fault) is the way the buckle attaches to the strap. Last night I climbed out the car window to clear the ice from the windshield. Slammed the door lightly (apparently just right) and the buckle immediately fell off and onto the pavement somewhere. Luckily, the two straps holding the extra bracelet held the watch long enough for me to safely remove it. When I stopped the car I found that the buckle itself was held in place by the same type of spring pin you use to attach the strap directly to the watch. I've never had any of the pins that attach to the watch come loose under normal circumstances, so I'm surprised it happened to the one holding the buckle. If you think about it, the buckle itself flexes a lot as you thread and tighten the strap. That being said, I'm not sure if a spring pen is the best option. I am giving two stars because I almost lost my new Galaxy watch in normal use on a snowy road with heavy traffic. BENEFITS - Beautiful bright colors. Issue March 23, 2020 Update I bought another one of these and the same thing happened. Shame on me I think.

Pros
  • CHOOSE YOUR SUITABLE WIDTH: Compatible with any traditional or smart watch that uses 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm or 24mm spring bars. Measure the eye of the watch where the bracelet and spring bar meet the watch case. It is important that the lug width of your watch matches the width of the strap you choose, otherwise the spring bars will not seat properly. You can also find the specifications of most watches by searching the internet. After determining the correct width, select the appropriate width from the menu above.
