I recently purchased a 3 inch Dream on Me mattress and this mattress topper based on reviews. I was so dissatisfied with this combo that I vowed not to buy a second set for our other child (we have twins, we tried to buy one set first to check quality). Our kids only need to use these products for 6 months before switching to toddler beds, so I bought the same mattress for the second bed and a different mattress pad from Biloban. Let me tell you it made all the difference. The Dream on Me Pack n Play 3 Inch Mattress is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and, frankly, it should be durable. It's not half as good as their crib mattress, however, and combined with a bad mattress topper like this, it's just a waste of an investment in baby's comfort. I found this mattress topper completely useless. It has no softness or fluff, and while it's not itchy, the material doesn't feel soft or premium. With this pillow, your baby's mattress will not be more comfortable than without. And our baby mattress is waterproof, so what's the use of this product if it doesn't add extra comfort? I'm sure there are many good options when it comes to mattress pads, but the second one we bought was made by Biloban. and while it wasn't as comfortable as the more expensive crib-sized pads, it was a lot better than this one. The material was soft and fluffy, the mattress felt twice as comfortable and I just liked the fact that the baby had a comfortable place to sleep. My advice? Don't waste your money on this pillow. Try Biloban or something else or nothing at all because it was a waste of money.
