I mostly use an electric razor, but sometimes I use a razor. On the advice of my dermatologist, I switched to these 2-blade razors instead of the 3 and 5-blade razors as they help prevent ingrown hairs. 5-blade razors pull your hair up for a closer trim (giving you a closer shave), but can also cause ingrown hairs if your hair is curly like mine. I think they are also more hygienic since I use one and throw it away.
