Review on 🚫 Sennheiser HD-201 Lightweight Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Gap Tawan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I bought these headphones due to the fact that the lonely one plays well on the PC and on the player. I considered two models, this one and Sennheiser HD 202. The difference in the models is not significant. I was ready to buy the 202s right away (I almost did a stupid thing, I wanted to pick it up without listening. But the seller offered to listen to the 201s. And to my surprise they were better than the 202s. By the way, if you listen to headphones with players like Sony NWZ-B172f, then you will notice that the bass becomes deeper and more powerful (this tandem is the best because the "Wallkman" series has a branded bass button, so the bass problem disappears immediately). By the way, headphones with different players play differently, on cowon eAudio E2 you can observe the following picture: low frequencies become secondary (bass is weaker), high and medium ones come to the fore. (there is no equalizer on these headphones, there are only proprietary settings, but things change a little.) In general, as many say, it is better to listen to yourself than to read a bunch of comments. And one more piece of advice, come to the store with your players. Good luck choosing!

Pros
  • - Excellent soundproofing - Sound quality (on the laptop, bass reproduces with high quality) - sensitivity - Versatility (Tested on a laptop, Sony NWZ-B172F mp3 player, cowon eAudio E2. - It sits firmly on my head (in physiology I have big ears, and even with such features they don’t put pressure on my ears. My record is 6 hours in headphones.) - of course the price
Cons
  • - a straight and thin cord (If it were "L" shaped, there would be no price for it.)

Got pros: Good sound, long wire, comfortable fit, strong rim (dropped a couple of times, but did not break) Cons: Not very deep bass, the length of the wire is too long for the street, but just right for the house
