I bought this outfit for my seven year old who insisted on having an 80's themed party. Fortunately for me it arrived early enough for me to find a seamstress and an alternative skirt. The top was too big for my daughter, I had to have it taken in. The tutu was made from extremely stiff tulle. So stiff it just sticks off. I washed it hoping it would soften up but it did not. I would not recommend it for a child with sensory processing issues at all. It is also very (yes it's made from tulle and tulle is thin.) so you will need cartwheel shorts or leggings underneath it.
