Things get tight after that, but as many others have said, simply removing the tool when not needed opens up a few more slots and makes access a little easier. There haven't been any leads or breaks yet as some have suggested. In fact, I honestly have no idea how anyone could have done that. Where the bottle opener hook is, it's really not that sharp, and the cards prevent anything from accidentally falling into the slot. I took this tool out of my hands, and I have yet to break the skin. In the future (long time) I can envision some maintenance on the silicone strap and maybe where the skin attaches; That's what lifetime warranties (and cheap tapes) are for, though.
