Disclaimer: I received this fan for free as part of an offer from the brand. I was originally looking for neck fans to wear while baby is carrying as I'm a bit hot as is the toddler. . Since it gets so hot in the summer, this seemed like a good solution for keeping the baby in the carrier for over an hour and not becoming a complete sweaty mess. I'm not sure why it's called a bladeless fan if it has blades. Housing. I don't know if I would have believed it if my hair was down. It feels like you're wearing in-ear headphones around your neck when they're on. It's not overly loud on low settings and generally not intrusive. There's some flex to channel air, but not a ton. For what I wanted to use it for, it doesn't direct air to where I need it (e.g. where the baby's head is on me and sweating all over), but for general purposes I think it's fine . I can't say anything about the battery life, since I've only used short pulses so far. All in all a good product that will help you stay cool and keep your hands free.
