I use the best Pro Consumer AT2020 USB mic for recording vocals. (Excellent noise level and sensitivity.) I bought this ZINGYOU as a cheap desktop mic for video (Webex and Zoom) and audio conferencing at work. Surprised how low the noise floor is and how sensitive it is at 12-18 inches for a $20 mic. Good speech reproduction from low to high frequencies and adjustable microphone gain (volume). I reduce the mic gain to about 70% because this mic is sensitive. With any decent condenser mic (like this one) it will pick up all the surrounding noise as it is very sensitive. That's what a condenser microphone is for. If you want a microphone to remove all background noise, buy a dynamic microphone and hold it very close to your mouth.
