I purchased this washcloth last June and it is by far the most durable version of this washcloth I have ever owned. These fabrics are usually made of polyester or nylon and will fade over time. They will also tend to stretch strangely, so in a few months it will be less of a rectangle and more of an indefinite square. The seams at the edges are fraying and beginning to unravel. This fabric has none of these disadvantages. It's almost as blue as it was when you bought it, just as square, and it still looks brand new. I've been using these washcloths since I was a kid and my mom used to bring them home from the dollar store. As with everything, the price has gone up, but their quality justifies the four dollars and the expectation of delivery from Japan. I definitely recommend it.
