I've tried several toilet sprays and they all seem surprisingly effective. Much better than room spray which leaves a sticky film on everything. Therefore, when choosing a toilet spray, I would focus on the smell that you like. This one, which I ordered in lavender-vanilla, turned out to be wonderfully scented. And of course it eliminates bad smells. I've only used this spray on the toilet so can't comment on how it works on smelly trash etc. Anyway, the directions say to spray it down the toilet before cleaning. Business. This is of course ideal. But when I forget or feel in a hurry, I find spraying in the bowl after work just as effective. So a great thing - and now an integral part of my lifestyle.
