This is a really cute hat, just looks big. I measured our son's head and based on the size chart I ordered 42cm (smallest size). According to our measurements, it should have been just an inch in circumference, but now that he's tried it on it looks a lot bigger. I hope it can be used for his Easter outfit, but we're keeping it until it fits anyway. Just a note - I ordered this because I couldn't find cheaper options online and couldn't run away to browse with my newborn. Since then I've seen very similar hats at lower prices at Old Navy, Babies R Us and Marshall's. I ended up buying a seersucker hat and matching boots from Marshall's for $8.
