I am 5'8.5 tall, 170 lbs, and carry most of my weight around my belly as you can see. I ordered the XXL and i am glad i did, it fits me well. Not super tight, just barely against the skin which is fine! I don't think i could have fit the XL, these things do NOT have much stretch to them. Keep that in mind. I like that it is long and covers everything except the boob part. I have tried the ones with the hooks in the past and man, do they hurt after a while. The velcro and zipper ones are too bulky. I like how thin the vest is, you can't even tell you're wearing it under your shirt (as long as you don't wear your shirts super tight). After working out for about 10 mins i can feel it getting warm and then the sweat comes hard! I love this thing so far. I also like that it is easy to clean too. great buy!
